About

Voices for the Voiceless

Voices for the Voiceless is a pro-life group for teens by teens located in the East Valley area of Arizona. We are a generation called to take a stand for life, to the glory of God. Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Thus our group, called by God to do so, is currently acting to educate, inform, and equip teens to do something about the injustice of abortion, to the glory of God. Our theme verses are found in Proverbs 31:8-9, in which God ushers a command for us as believers to act in obedience to him by being voices for those who have no voice:

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.

 Our Mission Statement:

  1. To glorify Christ by giving our best effort to rescue the lives of unborn, to be voices for the voiceless, fulfilling God’s command to “rescue those who are being carried away to death.”  Also, this group will seek to bring glory to Christ by being a witness to the world that there are young people who passionately care about the unborn.
  2. To educate young people for the purpose of creating a passion for protecting the unborn, and to equip them to have the skills to communicate the prolife positions intelligently, persuasively, and sensitively, to the culture.
  3. To render practical assistance to women in crisis pregnancies and to organizations and agencies which promote life.
  4. To educate young people regarding the present national and local, legislative and judicial developments which pertain to pro-life issues, and to support efforts which promote life.
  5. To gather to pray as a group for the ending of abortion, for our generation, for individuals prayer requests, etc. (recognizing that, of all the things we could do as a group, nothing can have a greater impact on abortion and on ourselves than the act of prayer)

Why Do We Exist?:

In America, nearly 4,000 unborn children are violently murdered in abortions. Every year, over 1 million abortions take innocent lives. And, since the legalizing of abortion in 1973, 50 million unborn babies have been murdured through abortions. In our country today, there is no great tragedy and injustice.

God’s word commands his people to come to the rescue of innocent human beings who are being slaughtered:

“If you faint in the day of adversity,
your strength is small. Rescue those who are being taken away to death;
hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.
If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,”
does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it,
and will he not repay man according to his work?” ~ Proverbs 24:10-12

For this reason, to bring glory to God by taking a stand for life, we exist.
